为了配合国家“十二五”规划,2011年1月11日上午,中国美术家协会召集在京主席团成员、著名美术家、理论家,以及相关美术机构负责人,在中国文联会议室举办“‘十二五’时期中国美术发展战略座谈会”。中国文联副主席、中国美协主席刘大为,中国美协分党组书记、常务副主席吴长江,中国美协秘书长刘健、副秘书长张旭光,中国文联理论研究室副主任赵卫东,美术专家代表詹建俊、侯一民、邵大箴、薛永年、郭怡孮、孙景波、朱青生、杨飞云、朝戈、丁宁、张元、余丁、郑工、张晓凌、刘进安、李翔、马书林、杭间,中国美协机关干部,以及《人民日报》《中国艺术报》《中国文化报》《荣宝斋》等媒体记者约50多人参加了座谈会。中国美协为此次座谈会进行了周详的筹备,提前拟定了有关中国美术发展的9个讨论提纲供专家们思考,其中包括服务大局、完善工作机制、打造美术活动品牌、理论评论、对外美术
