How to promote the free and complete human nature of human beings with literature and art? Reflections on this issue constitute a basic starting point for Liang Shih-ch'iu's criticism of practice. Liang Shiqiu defines the literary arts as the description or manifestation of the norm of human nature from the nature, and its fundamental purpose is just for this functional consideration.
