随着社会经济发展和现代教育理念的不断变革,我国高等教育教学的指导思想和具体教学内容都发生了很大的变化,大学教育也更加强调人文关怀。高等教育的宗旨是培养具有一定专业知识技术能力和理论水平的高等级人才,大学英语教学就是要提高学生的英语语言能力,培养具有国际化视野的全方位人才。因此,大学英语的教学方法也在不断发生着变化,在一些方面有了很多改革和创新。基于这一背景,在本文笔者将对大学英语教学方法方面发生的改革与创新进行简要介绍,并在文章最后给出进一步提高大学英语教学质量与水平的建议措施。
With the continuous changes in social and economic development and the concept of modern education, the guiding ideology and specific teaching content of higher education in our country have undergone great changes. University education has also placed greater emphasis on humanistic concern. The purpose of higher education is to cultivate a high-level talent with a certain degree of professional knowledge, technical ability and theoretical level. College English teaching is to improve students’ English language ability and cultivate a full range of talents with an international perspective. Therefore, the teaching methods of college English are also constantly changing, in a number of areas have a lot of reform and innovation. Based on this background, I will briefly introduce the reforms and innovations that have taken place in the college English teaching methods, and at the end of the article, give some suggestions on how to improve the quality and level of college English teaching.
