由中国社会科学院世界经济与政治研究所和英国伦敦经济学院联合召开的“变化中的世界经济”国际学术讨论会于1989年4月12～15日在北京举行。中国社会科学院副院长李慎之出席了会议并致开幕词,中国社会科学院世界经济与政治研究所所长李琮致闭幕词并与英国伦敦经济学院院长佩特尔轮流主持了会议。参加这次讨论会的有中国代表和观察员15名,英国代表6名,双方提交会议的论文共12篇。两国学者就当前世界经济的基本特点、世界产业
An International Symposium on “Changing World Economy” jointly held by the Institute of World Economics and Politics of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and the London School of Economics in England was held on April 12-15, 1989 in Beijing. Li Shenzhi, vice president of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, attended the meeting and made an opening speech. Li Yong, director of the Institute of World Economics and Politics of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, delivered a closing speech and took turns to chair the meeting with Perth, Dean of the London School of Economics. There were 15 Chinese and English delegates attending this symposium, 6 delegates from the UK and 12 papers submitted to the meeting by both parties.
