This paper reports the synthesis of the steroid STS557 with anti-fertility activity and its ketoxime derivatives and 7α-methyl analogues. With estrone as raw material, STS557 was synthesized by the known method and then added with hydroxylamine hydrochloride to obtain ketoxime derivative. Synthesis of 7α-methyl substituted analogues is acetic acid
