The comrades in charge of distribution told me that the performance of the “World Economy and Politics” magazine in 1999 was good. In terms of circulation alone, the readership expanded by 15% over the previous year. It is a great pleasure for our magazines to achieve such a result when the market benefits of most scholarly journals are facing a “landslide” predicament. It is both a result of joint efforts by authors and editors and a reflection of the love of our readers
