用新引发体系乳液聚合制得低电位的聚苯乙烯胶体.通过电解质对胶体的凝聚动力学研宄,发现电解质的临界凝聚浓度(ccc)与反离子价数间的关系不符合Schulze-Hardy规律;但从ccc计算的Hamaker常数与理论值相接近.由凝聚曲线斜率求得胶粒表而电位(φ_δ)与由电导滴定结果计算所得的表面电位(φ_ο)相当.胶体凝聚过程可用散射光检测,对较大胶粒的光散射检测角,发现可通过Lips-Willis式来估算.
Low-potential polystyrene colloids were prepared by emulsion polymerization with a new initiator system. The kinetics of colloidal coalescence of electrolytes was studied. The results showed that the relationship between the critical concentration of electrolyte (ccc) and the valence of the counterions did not fit the Schulze-Hardy rule. However, the Hamaker constant calculated from ccc is close to the theoretical value. The gel table is obtained from the slope of the coalescence curve and the potential (φ_δ) is comparable to the surface potential (φ_o) calculated from the conductometric titration results. The colloidal coalescence can be detected by scattered light, Light scattering detection angles for larger micelles can be estimated by the Lips-Willis formula.
