1966年Schally等最先从猪下丘脑中提取了促甲状腺释放激素(TRH)。TRH是一种三肽类物质,化学结构是左旋焦谷酰基- 组氨酰-脯肽酰胺,可以合成,并已研究了它的生物学特性。TRH释放甲状腺刺激素和泌乳素已被广泛应用于诊断和治疗下丘脑-垂体-甲状腺系统的疾病。Kastin等(1972)给抑郁症患者试用TRH后,症状和体征都得到了改善。其后许多作者继续报道了TRH在抑郁症病人的临床应用。Plotnkoff
In 1966, Schally et al first extracted thyrotropin releasing hormone (TRH) from pig hypothalamus. TRH is a tripeptide substance whose chemical structure is levorotatory glutamyl-histidyl-prolinamide which can be synthesized and its biological properties have been studied. TRH release of thyroid stimulating hormone and prolactin has been widely used in the diagnosis and treatment of the hypothalamic-pituitary-thyroid system diseases. Kastin et al. (1972) improved the symptoms and signs of TRH in depressed patients. Since then, many authors continue to report the clinical use of TRH in patients with depression. Plotnkoff
