Recently, many attentive (and enthusiastic) readers have pointed out some wrong facts about “world knowledge” that should not appear. People often say that “they are happy when they hear news.” However, we are discussing these letters and calls. While we are grateful to those enthusiastic readers, we have only deeply guilty conscience. Some of these mistakes are common sense. For example, the mistake of “George W. Bush of the 54th and 43rd President” in the United States is mistaken for “the 43rd”; and most of them are mistakes made when editing or proofing. Although the issue is “small,” as some readers have said, it should not have appeared in such an “authoritative” and “high-quality” magazine. Still other readers pointed out: “Shi Zhi” should be improved, but the basic work must be done first and foremost. Honest Sense! We should keep in mind.
