崇尚节俭是中国社会一贯推崇的传统消费观念。然而自上海开埠后,此地消费风习由节俭而渐渐变得奢华。到了19世纪的70～80年代,崇尚奢靡的消费风潮更是愈演愈烈。本文就19世纪70～80年代上海的崇奢消费现象进行分析,并探讨出现这种现象的原因。
Advocating thrift is the traditional concept of consumption that Chinese society has consistently respected. However, since its opening in Shanghai, the consumer climate has gradually become more luxurious through frugality. To the 19th century, 70 to 80 years, advocating extravagant consumer trends is intensified. This article analyzes the phenomenon of the extravagant consumption in Shanghai from the 1970s to the 1980s and explores the reasons for this phenomenon.
