电视连续剧《好爹好娘》主题歌中有这样两句话:老百姓是咱亲爹娘,敢不做个好儿郎!可以说这两句歌词提炼出了这部电视连续剧的主题思想。电视连续剧《好爹好娘》,是根据侯钰鑫先生的同名长篇小说改编的。小说着意刻画出一个个血肉丰满的人物形象,把骨肉情、夫妻情、同志情、鱼水情描写得生动细腻,感人肺腑,催人泪下。2001 年,该小说被列入中宣部、中组部等六部委联合举办的“全国纪念建党八十周年十部优秀文学作品”。中视传媒股份有限公司、山东电影电视剧制作中心、中央电视台三方联合把这部优秀小说搬上屏幕,奉献给我们的“爹娘”——人民。人民是文明的创造者,是我们这个国家的基石,是我们执政党的父母,是咱的好爹好娘。合拍三方领导要求我们摄制组,把这一鲜明的主题贯穿于电视剧创作的始终,并用流动立体的画面故事,将这一主题呈现在观众面前。
