中等职业教育是在高中教育阶段进行的职业教育,也包括一部分高中后职业培训,其定位就是在九年义务教育的基础上培养数以亿计的技能型人才和高素质劳动者。中等职业教育是目前我国职业教育的主体,主要由中等职业学校实施,招生对象主要是初中毕业生和具有初中同等学历的人员,基本学制以三年制为主。这类学校在对学生进行高中文化知识教育的同时,根据职业岗位的要求有针对性地实施职业知识教育和职业技能训练。
Secondary vocational education is a vocational education carried out in the upper secondary education stage and also includes a part of post-secondary vocational training. Its positioning is to cultivate hundreds of millions of skilled personnel and high-quality laborers on the basis of nine-year compulsory education. Secondary vocational education is currently the main body of vocational education in our country, which is mainly implemented by secondary vocational schools. The main targets of enrollment are middle school graduates and persons with equivalent academic qualifications in junior high schools. The basic academic system is dominated by a three-year system. While carrying out high school cultural knowledge education for students, these schools carry out vocational knowledge education and vocational skills training according to the requirements of professional positions.
