We must build up the benefits of socialist state-owned assets and continue to improve people’s material and cultural life. The socialist system can continue to be consolidated and developed. I believe that the low efficiency of state-owned assets restricts the further development of the economy. The main reasons are as follows: First, in production and construction, we have taken note of the invigoration of microcosm, but have not established the necessary strong macro-management system in a timely manner.
