《贵州茶叶》自1972年创办以来,至今已届30岁了。该刊最初取名为《茶叶科技简报》(油印本),1974年改名为《茶叶通讯》(铅印本),1978年12月贵州省茶叶学会成立,省茶学会与省茶科所自1979年第2期起合办该刊,当时因刊名与湖南省茶研所复刊《茶叶通讯》同名,故从1982年第1期起改为《贵州茶叶》。本刊创办初期为手工钢版蜡纸刻印,以后转为铅字排印,今为电脑排版,在“排、印”上经
