Japan’s Datong Special Steel Company in 1994 in Kawasaki plant built using regenerative system of continuous billet furnace. This system replaces the heat exchanger in the traditional heating furnace with the ceramic regenerator and its integral burner. It is configured with two 1-pair pairs on the left and right sides of the heating furnace and adopts the FDI combustion technology of switching the alternating combustion every 30s. For this reason, about 15% NOx and CO can be reduced
