多元系统理论是以色列学者伊塔马·埃文-佐哈尔基于俄国形式主义和捷克结构主义,提出了关于解释文学翻译活动受除文本以外的社会文化等因素制约的翻译理论。该理论为解释文学翻译从语言——文化的转变,从原文为本体的研究转变到面向目标语文化的研究提供了一种全新视角。本文以多元系统理论为视角,结合不同译本来论证和诠释了译者在文学翻译行为中的中心地位和主体性的彰显及其对文学翻译实践的有效解释力,同时以丰富的例证指出多元系统论对文学翻译解释力的局限性。
Multivariate system theory is the Israeli scholar Itama Evan-Zohar based on Russian formalism and Czech structuralism, put forward a translation theory on the interpretation of literary translation activities subject to social and cultural factors other than the text constraints. This theory provides a new perspective for explaining the translation of literary translation from language to culture and from the study of ontology to the study of target language culture. This dissertation argues and explains the translator’s demonstration of the central position and subjectivity in literary translation as well as his effective explanatory power of literary translation practice from the perspective of multi-system theory and different versions of the translation.
