On August 30, 2017, NXP Semiconductors (NXP) announced that it will work together with Guangzhou Automobile Group to jointly develop a new generation of automotive gateway platform based on Ethernet and security to promote the independent research and development of the first vehicle manufacturing enterprise in China Ethernet gateway project landed. NXP will provide reference designs and complete gateway solutions for the development of the platform covering semiconductors such as microcontrollers and network interfaces
