临颍县于2006年9月开始实施全球基金中国艾滋病项目。在实施过程中,通过建立健全项目组织机构、建立多部门合作机制、有效的督导评估机制、人力资源培训机制,使得临颍县建立了新型的项目管理模式,项目工作顺利开展,加强了各部门间的交流与合作,形成了项目工作与日常工作有机结合的良好局面,全面推进了全县的艾滋病防治工作。
