国家重点建设项目之一的引滦入唐工程,1984年12月26日提前一年竣工通水。党和国家领导人万里、郝建秀、李鹏以及水电部副部长张凤祥、河北省副省长杜竞一、中共唐山市委书记岳岐峰等在视察了部分工程之后,出席了通水仪式。李鹏代表党中央、国务院向参加这项工程建设的河北省、水电部的职工和人民解放军基建工程兵表示热烈的慰问。他希望管理好应用好这条输水工程,让它为人民造福。
Luanhe Tang project, one of the key national construction projects, was completed on December 26, 1984, one year ahead of schedule. Party and state leaders Wan Li, Hao Jianxiu and Li Peng, as well as Zhang Fengxiang, vice minister of MEP, Du Jingyi, vice provincial governor of Hebei Province, and Yue Qi Feng, secretary of CPC Tangshan Municipal Committee, attended the water-passing ceremony after inspecting some of the projects. On behalf of the Central Party Committee and the State Council, Li Peng extended warm condolences to the workers and staff of the People’s Liberation Army and the Hebei Provincial People’s Liberation Army participating in the construction of this project. He hopes to manage and apply this water conveyance project well and make it benefit the people.
