先从一个折纸实例谈起:图1例1将长为80厘米、宽1厘米的长方形纸条,连续对折4次,变成一叠长5厘米、宽1厘米的长方形.(如图1),再将它从左到右依次地沿虚线剪出这些小正方形.并展开,共有几个1×1的正方形?几个2×1的长方形?解法1利用实物做实验,对折4次后,图1中共有(24=)16层,剪开后,分别计数,可得1×1的正方形50个,2×1的长方形15个.证明利用纸条做实验,的确可以求得正确结论,这完全是凭感性直觉找到答案.如果没有纸条做实验,那么我们只能凭经验及已知的数字基本知识来设想探求,即
