Whenever the country of Italy is mentioned, the Roman arena, the Pantheon and the Fountain of Young Girls emerge in people’s minds; the magnificent Grand Duchy of Nice, the peculiar bridges and the poetic “Gondola” boats; Florence Renaissance art master Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci’s famous sculptures, paintings, and more. However, people never imagined that there were a large number of unknown artists in Italy who left 140,000 lithographs on 2,400 huge rocks in the canyon of the Alps in northern Italy 10,000 years ago. This is the Vulkamenika petroglyph which has been hailed by UNESCO as “a prominent art value of all mankind.”
