在唐山大地震中,天津市有不少多层砖房住宅的外纵墙、内廊式多层砖房的尽端山墙,其窗台下面的墙体(称窗肚墙)出现x形斜裂缝.本文通过对天津市1974年标准住宅(按《TJ11-74》规范7度设防)的外纵墙,采用有限元法计算弹性薄板的平面应力问题,就其窗间墙和窗肚墙的主应力分布情况进行初步分析,探讨多层砖房外纵墙在地震作用下的破坏机制问题,并就此谈点粗浅看法
