Proposed by the People’s Republic of China Ministry of Health, Ministry of Construction, Ministry of Water Resources, Ministry of Land and Resources, State Environmental Protection Administration, etc., China Center for Disease Control and Prevention Center for Environment and Health-related product safety responsible for drafting the new “drinking water health standards” (GB 5749 -2006) was released on 2006-12-29, 2007-07-01 implementation. The entire technical content of this standard is mandatory; the new standard replaces GB57 from the date of implementation
