我省坝上防护林体系是国务院于一九七八年底批准的北方“绿色万里长城”的组成部分,为加强这一建设工程的科学性,减少盲目性,河北省林学会组织有关单位于今年五、六月份对坝上进行了学术考察,随后召开“坝上防护林学术讨论会”,对坝上营造防护林的技术问题,做了进一步探讨。在代表充分讨论的基础上,修改了《坝上防护林技术考察报告》供各有关部门参考。同时提出以下建议:
