2004年6月11日,西藏自治区检察院召开表彰援藏干部大会,为成功完成西藏“12·16”大案公诉任务的北京援藏检察官胡建斌等记个人二等功。该案被西藏检察机关称为“雪域高原第一案”。被告人董在军给国家造成三亿多元经济损失,却于1996年用“没往自己兜里装一分钱”为挡箭牌,使地方两级法院审理后均判处无罪。后经胡建斌等以新的犯罪事实重新起诉,2003年8月5日,西藏自治区高级人民法院以玩忽职守罪和贪污罪,终审判处董在军有期徒刑10年。
On June 11, 2004, the Procuratorate of Tibet Autonomous Region held a ceremony to commend the cadres meeting held by Tibet Autonomous Region and took personal second-class merit, such as Hu Jianbin, a Beijing-Tibet official who successfully completed the prosecution of Tibet in the “12.16” major case. The case was said by the procuratorate of Tibet as “the first case of snowy plateau.” The defendant, Dong Zaijun, caused more than 300 million yuan of economic losses to the country, but in 1996, he used “not a penny in his pocket” as a shield so that local courts at both levels would be acquitted. After Hu Jianbin and other crimes were re-prosecuted with new facts, August 5, 2003, the Tibet Autonomous Region High People’s Court to neglect of duty and corruption crimes, the final trial of Dong Aijun 10 years in prison.
