通过分析当前石油院校专业英语教学现状及石油工业对科技英语的实际需要,借鉴现代应用语言学理论,结合《大学英语教学大纲(理工科用)》,讨论了石油院校高年级专业英语阶段的教学特点,阐述了在专业阅读课科学化、系统化的过程中起重要作用的教材、教师等因素。文章以《石油专业英语教程》(试用本)的编写尝试和使用体会为例,说明了改革石油院校专业英语教学的关键在于遵循语言教学规律,结合专业要求,编写和选用合适的教材,培养既懂专业、又通外语的“两栖”型教师;以及健全相应的考试、考查系统等。
By analyzing the current situation of professional English teaching in petroleum colleges and universities and the practical needs of petroleum industry for science and technology English, drawing lessons from the modern applied linguistics theory and combining with the Syllabus for College English (Engineering), the higher vocational English phase Teaching characteristics, elaborated in the professional reading class science, systematic process plays an important role in teaching materials, teachers and other factors. The article takes “Petroleum Professional English Course” (trial version) as an example to try and use experience, which shows that the key to reform the professional English teaching in petroleum colleges lies in complying with the rules of language teaching and combining professional requirements with the preparation and selection of suitable teaching materials. Both professional and pass the foreign language “amphibious” type of teacher; and improve the appropriate examination, examination system.
