The decision was made by Chandler Howard, chairman of the Chamber of Commerce, at a breakfast party for exemplary members of the Chamber of Commerce. In six years of playing for the Grizzlies, Guy has been actively engaged in community affairs and was awarded the NBA Community Care Award (March 2010) for helping raise funds for St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
