On November 16, 2014, the 14th Symposium on Safekeeping of Museums jointly hosted by Beijing Museum Society, Hubei Provincial Museum and Hubei Provincial Museum Association was held in Wuhan Hubin Building. Liu Chaoying, deputy director of Beijing Municipal Bureau of Cultural Relics, Cui Xueyuan, secretary general of Beijing Museum Association, Liang Jinsheng, director of the custody committee of the Chinese Museum Association, and Wu Hongtang, chairman of the Hubei Provincial Museum Association attended the opening ceremony. More than 180 representatives from 18 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities across the country attended the meeting.
