顷读曹寿槐先生近作,有一股菊花般的气息扑面而来,似篱边秋色经重霜后焕发出来的勃勃生机,初读绚丽多姿,再读便宛然进入烂漫之境。曹寿槐已年届耄耋之年,是一位性格开朗、直爽,热爱生活的老书法家。一生痴迷书法,所临碑帖不下百种,可谓正、草、隶、行皆精,篆书虽少写,也别有韵致。其实他用功最勤的当是行书,自我风格最为明显。他对书法艺术的执著和进取心,是当今一般中青年书法家难以企及的。记得1998年他第五次出版书法作品专集时,我曾写过一篇书评,着重谈了他书法中用笔之精到和多变,来源于他长期浸淫于传统经典的临习,并
