Cryotherapy has been applied to many benign and malignant tumors. There have been successful reports of skin neoplasms, rectal, bone and laryngeal tumors. It has also been used in liver tumors, but the use of this technique has caused a large amount of normal liver parenchyma around the tumor. The authors used a new type of cryoprobe to insert the probe into the hepatic metastatic lesion area for freezing, thus only damaging a small amount of normal liver parenchyma at each lesion and its periphery. Patient and method: 7 cases of liver metastases, 6 cases of knots Rectal cancer metastasis, 1 case of carcinoid metastasis. Age is 56 years old. These patients all use the author’s newly designed cryoprobe, which is a newly designed cryoprobe with a diameter of 5mm rod, outsourcing the insulator, circulating liquid nitrogen at the tip of the probe. For -196°C. During exploratory laparotomy, the liver was palpated with both hands and an intraoperative ultrasound was performed.
