一、引言高清晰度电视(HDTV)是一种新技术,它将使现有的电视制式发生巨大变化。HDTV在各国被广泛发展成为最重要的未来广播制式之一。根据广泛的心理物理学研究,HDTV新的扫描格式:屏幕宽高比为16:9,扫描线数超过1000条。采用这些新格式,就临场感和图像清晰度而言,比现有电视制式有完全不同的图像效果。由于其明显的潜在优势,预计HDTV将不仅用于广播而且用于各种工业领域。本文介绍HDTV发展现状及根据CCIR报告的W-HDTV卫星广播制式的各种问题。
I. INTRODUCTION High definition television (HDTV) is a new technology that will revolutionize the existing television system. HDTV has been widely developed in various countries as one of the most important future broadcast formats. According to a wide range of psychophysical research, HDTV’s new scanning format: screen aspect ratio of 16: 9, the number of scanning lines more than 1000. With these new formats, there is an entirely different picture effect than the existing television system in terms of presence and image clarity. Due to its obvious potential advantages, it is expected that HDTV will be used not only in broadcasting but also in various industrial fields. This article describes the status of HDTV developments and various issues with the W-HDTV satellite broadcast system reported under the CCIR.
