当举世瞩目的美国世界杯赛在大洋彼岸打得烽烟迭起的时候,在亚洲预选赛中兵败志不衰的日本,第二届全国职业联赛同样进行得如火如荼。比赛的电视转播收视率依然居高不下。如果必须在两种比赛转播中做出选择,更多的日本球迷则宁愿为国内赛场呐喊助威。这也许就是我们常讲的日本人的民族性。 然而,要使日本足球尽快“冲出亚洲”,打入世界杯,光有球迷的狂热还远远不够,当务之急是尽快提高技战术水平及体能水平。而要想做到这一切,就必须解决足协所面临的迫在眉睫的又一难题——经费问题。
