厦门经济特区在国家和福建省的关怀和支持下,经过十五年艰苦奋斗,取得了令人瞩目的变化。今后的15年,将是厦门经济特区实施第二次创业战略的15年。为实现到2010年把厦门建设成为现代化、国际性港口风景城市的远景目标,我们应该认真总结经验,迎接挑战,努力保证厦门经济特区第二次创业战略的顺利实施。一、第一次创业的回顾自1980年创办经济特区以来,厦门充分发挥港口优势、区位优势、侨台优势和政策优势,
With the care and support of the state and Fujian Province, Xiamen Special Economic Zone made remarkable changes after 15 years of hard work. In the next 15 years, it will be 15 years for the Xiamen Special Economic Zone to carry out its second pioneering strategy. In order to realize the long-term goal of building Xiamen into a modern, international port city by 2010, we should conscientiously sum up experience and meet the challenges so as to ensure the smooth implementation of the second pioneering strategy in Xiamen SEZ. I. Review of the First Entrepreneurship Since the founding of the special economic zone in 1980, Xiamen has given full play to advantages of ports, geographical advantages, advantages of overseas Chinese and Taiwan, and policy advantages.
