李四光先生是我国卓越的科学家、中国现代地质事业的开拓者和新中国地质事业的主要奠基人之一,是中国科协第一届主席,曾得到党和国家历代领导人的高度评价。
Mr. Li Siguang is one of China's outstanding scientists. He is one of the pioneers of China's modern geological undertakings and one of the major founders of the geology of New China. He is the first president of China Association for Science and Technology and was highly praised by the leaders of the CPC and the country's past generations.
