在党的“鼓足干劲、力争上游、多快好省地建设社会主义”的总路线光辉照耀下,我省已提出要在最短期间内控制结核病的流行。为了迅速地、徹底地、有效地控制结核病,进而消灭它,掌握结核病流行的客观规律是非常重要的。通过结核病的疫情调查,根据结核病流行的实际情况,才能制定积极的防治措施。 1958年1—7月我们在昆明市17个工厂中进行集体胸部X线检查,计检查了10.091名工人,其中包括重、轻工业及交通运输业。茲特将检查结果报告如下,并略作讨论供同道们参考,尚请不吝指正。

In order to control tuberculosis rapidly and thoroughly, and then eliminate it, it is very important to grasp the objective laws governing the epidemic of tuberculosis. According to the epidemic investigation of tuberculosis, active prevention and control measures can only be formulated according to the actual situation of the tuberculosis epidemic. From January to July 1958, we conducted a collective chest X-ray examination at 17 factories in Kunming. We inspected 10.091 workers, including heavy and light industries and transportation.
