1998年5月由陕西省文物局、陕西历史博物馆、太平洋文教基金会联合主办的《台湾著名水墨大师李奇茂、欧豪年双人展》,在陕西历史博物馆展出,引起了艺术界和社会的广泛关注和高度评价。展览期间,应陕西省文物局的邀请,李奇茂先生亲赴西安,与陕西文艺界的同仁进行了短暂而多方位的交流,并应邀在西安美术学院举行了专题讲座,受到了上千名师生的热烈欢迎。笔者根据陕西美术界刘蒙天、徐庶之、徐风、谌北新、方鄂秦、张义潜、杨晓阳、郭全忠、靳保平、石村诸先生对李奇茂艺术的评述以及其它相关资料撰文如下,以飨读者。
