设计作为人类的一种特有行为,是人类认识自然并实现人自身生存和发展的重要力量,也是调节人类伦理关系的一种方式,并以物化的形式反映着特定时期、特定地域人类的物质和精神文化状况。设计史作为人造物以及人类社会发展的历史,深刻反映了人类造物设计的发生、发展,设计与艺术、设计与科学技术的关系,以及人类的生存、生活方式的变迁,且对其的研究在近几十年间得到长足进步。因此,本栏目的开设,不仅为我国设计史论研究领域提供了一个全面交流、深度研究的崭新学术平台,也将为方兴未艾的设计史论及其教育的蓬勃发展做出积极而有益的贡献。
Design as a peculiar behavior of mankind is an important force for mankind to understand nature and realize man’s own survival and development. It is also a way to regulate the relationship between human beings and ethics, and reflects the material and historical conditions of mankind in a specific period Spiritual and cultural conditions. History of design, as a history of man-made things and the development of human society, profoundly reflects the relationship between the occurrence and development of human creations, the relationship between design and art, design and science and technology as well as the changes of human existence and life style. In recent decades have made great strides. Therefore, the opening of this column not only provides a brand-new academic platform for the comprehensive exchange and in-depth study of the history of design history in our country, but also will make positive and beneficial contributions to the booming design history theory and education.
