1 前言在过去二十年,种子活力测定,尤其是对玉米和大豆,已是一项普遍采用的措施。种子供应者采用活力测定能够销售高质量种子。这一措施能够帮助农场主保证种子在较大范围土壤类型及环境条件下表现良好,两种最常用的活力测定方法是低温法和加速老化法。今天,在美国几乎所有销售的玉米种子都要进行低温测试,在中部地区种植的大批量的大豆种子也通常采用此项措施。加速老化法最初用来测验批量种子
1 Introduction In the past two decades, seed vigor determination, especially for corn and soybeans, has been a commonly adopted measure. Seed suppliers use vigor to sell high-quality seeds. This measure helps farmers ensure that the seeds perform well under a wide range of soil types and environmental conditions. The two most commonly used assays for vitality are cryogenic and accelerated weathering. Today, almost all maize seeds marketed in the United States are tested for low temperature, and large batches of soybean seeds grown in the central region are also commonly used. Accelerated aging was originally used to test batch seeds
