文学类图书市场的不温不火与纯文学的低迷有着直接的关系,究其原因在于以下三个方面:一是文学图书的市场不景气使出版社面临挑战;二是读者读不到好书;三是作家的作品找不到适宜出版的途径。如何在纯文学的低迷期让文学类图书走俏图书市场,让作家的优秀作品找到适宜的出版途径,是困扰出版社和作家们的一大难题。就以上三个方面的问题,笔者结合新疆美术摄影出版社和新疆电子音像出版社近年来在文学类图书出版的选题策划方面的实际情况,做以下尝试性的探讨,以便引起出版专家和作家们的关注。
