扬州西郊一处偏僻的湖边小院,几个老人和一个文弱的年轻人围着一堆木板,共17块,全都黝黑锃亮,散发着淡淡的墨香,它们就是古籍印刷最原始的工具—雕版。『器曰书坊』的刻工、印工,平均年龄60岁(主要是器曰拖了后腿,否则得到65岁了),大部分曾从事古籍印刷工作40年以上,他们从扬州的各个角落聚拢在一起,修复、再造古籍善本,每刻成一部新书,都像是从时间手里抢回了一件即将遗失的珍宝。
A remote lake in the western suburbs of Yangzhou small courtyard, a few frail elderly and a frail young people around a pile of wood, a total of 17, all dark and shiny, exudes a hint of ink, they are the most primitive ancient books printing tools - engraving. For example, the engraving and printing of “Shuo Yue Shu Fang” means that the average age of a worker is 60 years old (mainly due to dragging his hind legs, or 65 years old otherwise). Most of them engaged in the printing of ancient books for more than 40 years and gathered from all corners of Yangzhou Together, repair, re-create rare books, every moment into a new book, are like a time saved from the hands of a lost treasure.
