Aneuploid types of plants have gained widespread use in addressing a number of important issues in cytogenetic and breeding of crops such as wheat and oats. The aneuploidy of haplotypes and missing families has long been an effective means of genetic analysis. It can be used to study the genetic function and phenotypic effects of individual chromosomes and to study the gene-action characteristics of chromosomes, genomes and homoeologous pairs. Utilization of aneuploidy types also makes it very easy to transfer valuable genetic material from wild species to cultivated species, such as the transfer of complete chromosomes, individual genes or the reconstitution of genomes, which is necessary to improve the specific favorable economy
