古地震研究已成为最近30年中活动构造学发展的重要方面,并与活动断裂分段研究一起大大推进了定量活动构造学的发展。古地震研究主要通过地表地质地貌调查、槽探和钻探等方法进行。本文在总结前人对古地震研究的基础上,结合笔者近几年的工作经验,简要介绍了古地震研究中所用的槽探与钻孔联合剖面探测方法。并以唐山断裂为例表明,钻孔联合剖面探测匹配探槽开挖是获取平原区隐伏活断层古地震事件的有效途径。
Paleoearthquake research has become an important aspect of active tectonics in recent 30 years and has greatly promoted the development of quantitative tectonism along with active fault segmentation. Paleoearthquake research mainly through surface geology and geomorphology, trough exploration and drilling methods. On the basis of summarizing the predecessors’ research on paleoseismicity and combining with the author’s work experience in recent years, this paper briefly introduces the method of joint detection of slotted and borehole used in paleoseismic research. The case of Tangshan fault is taken as an example to show that the excavation of the combined trench exploration and exploration trench is an effective way to obtain the paleo-seismic events of the buried active faults in the plain area.
