NADPH d histochemical method to observe the intrathecal injection of NMDA receptor antagonist MK 80 1 on the right posterior subcutaneous injection of formaldehyde-induced inflammatory pain and hyperalgesia in the spinal cord during the expression of nitric oxide synthase (NOS) The changes of nitric oxide (NO) · 3 and NO- · 2 in the final metabolites of nitric oxide (NO) were measured to observe the change of NO content in this process. The results showed that the expression of NOS in the dorsal horn of bilateral spinal cord and the content of NO in the lumbar enlargement were significantly increased after subcutaneous injection of formaldehyde for 24 hours, whereas the intrathecal injection of NMDA receptor antagonist MK 80 1 15 min before and 12 h after injection , Significantly inhibited the expression of NOS and NO content. The above results show that during the process of pain and hyperalgesia induced by formaldehyde injection in the rat’s hind paw, the expression of NOS and the increase of NO content in the dorsal horn of the spinal cord are mediated through the activity of NMDA receptors
