In 1973, on the basis of learning from our brother surveying units, we began trial production of hydraulic hydrostatic probing. Many fraternal units use static probing to solve the engineering geological survey of natural foundations. They have accumulated rich practical experience and promoted their application to production. We feel that the static penetration probe penetration process is basically similar to the process of driving a pile into the ground. The static penetrating exploration can be regarded as the in-situ simulation test of the pile driving into the pile foundation engineering geological survey.
