TRAIL及TRAIL R是新发现的细胞凋亡系统。Caspase 8在TRAIL系统介导细胞凋亡信号中起关键作用。TRAIL有选择性细胞毒性 ,可介导IFN的抗肿瘤、抗病毒作用 ,可能在T细胞活化诱导凋亡及CTL介导的靶细胞凋亡过程中起重要作用

TRAIL and TRAIL R are newly discovered apoptotic systems. Caspase 8 plays a key role in TRAIL-mediated apoptosis signaling. The selective cytotoxicity of TRAIL mediates the antitumor and antiviral effect of IFN, which may play an important role in the induction of apoptosis by T cell activation and CTL-mediated apoptosis of target cells
