Police decision support system based on GIS is an important part of Jindun Project of Ministry of Public Security and is the requirement of public security informatization. Based on the informatization construction standards promulgated by the Ministry of Public Security, this paper attempts to locate the police decision support system based on GIS and summarizes the functional requirements, data requirements and environmental requirements of the system.
