门墩是中国老式住宅四合院中,用来支撑正门或中门的门槛、门框和门扇的石头。它是四合院建筑的组成部分之一,也是一种精美的石刻艺术品。门枕石早在汉代四合院形成的早期就开始使用了。
The door pier is the stone of the doorsteps, door frames and door leafs used to support the front door or the middle door in Chinese courtyard houses. It is one of the components of the courtyard building, but also a beautiful stone artwork. The stone pillow as early as the formation of the courtyard in the Han Dynasty began to use.
