单士元先生是蜚声国内外的清史专家、文物专家和古建筑学家,现为故宫博物院顾问。1924年11月5日清逊帝溥仪被逐出故宫后,单士元先生即于同年12月来到故宫,参与清室善后委员会清点官内公私物品的工作,以后即留任故宫博物院,至今已64年。 这个年表是单士元先生在北京大学读研究生期间编撰的,曾于1934年铅印单行本50份,分赠友好。由于时隔久远,流传甚少,因此本刊特征得单老同意,重新发表,并附录已故著名史学家、明清史研究的开拓者孟森教授为本年表单行本撰写的序言,以供史学界治清史和研究中国近代史时参考。
Mr. Shan Shih is renowned at home and abroad Qing experts, heritage experts and ancient architects, is now the National Palace Museum consultants. On November 5, 1924, after Emperor Purcell Pu Yi was expelled from the Forbidden City, Mr. Shan Shih-yuan arrived in the Forbidden City in December of the same year to participate in the clearance of public and private articles in Qingchi Commission and later retained the Palace Museum. 64 years. This chronology was edited by Mr. Shih-yuan during his graduate study at Peking University. He had 50 copies of the printed solicitation in 1934 and was given free gifts. Due to the long history and very little circulation, the feature of this journal was approved and reissued, with the addition of a preface by Prof. Monsen, a late-famous historian and a pioneer in the study of history of the Ming and Qing Dynasties, References of Historians in Managing History and Studying Chinese Modern History.
