鲁迅与梁实秋在20世纪上半叶进行了一场中国文史上罕见的战辞激烈、战文繁密、战时长久的论战。究其原因,笔者认为鲁梁双方人生际遇不同,由此而造成的性格差异是能够形成长期论战的内因,而鲁梁双方所接受的美、日不同思想的影响和当时特殊的社会文化背景是形成论战的外因。内外因共同作用导致论战中双方的观点和态度都存在一定的非理性化倾向。
