我省在土地革命时期,经历了长期艰苦的革命斗争,创造了中央苏区、闽浙赣苏区、湘赣苏区、湘鄂赣苏区等根据地,红军北上后,遭受反动派极其残酷的烧杀抢夺,使老根据地人民遭受了难以估计的巨大苦痛与损失。解放两年以来,亟须恢复元气,中央亦极为关怀,去年八月间,便组织了南方老根据地访问团,来我省各老根据地进行慰问。毛主席并亲笔为老根据地人民题字:「发扬革命传统,争取更大光荣」。现又拨给老根据
During the period of the Agrarian Revolution, our province experienced a long and arduous revolutionary struggle, created base areas such as the Central Soviet Area, the Jiangxi-Soviet Soviet Area, the Soviet-Jiangxi Peninsula, the Soviet-Western Jiangsu Area and the Hunan-Hubei-Jiangxi Soviet Area.
